This transitional penthouse kitchen is located on the top floor of a high rise looking out on downtown Dallas. The existing marble and heavy molding was all removed and replaced by a relaxed, sophisticated style. Warm white painted cabinetry is surrounded by rift-cut oak panels enhancing the existing architectural elements. Countertops are Taj Mahal quartzite and the backsplash is a linear glass tile. French rift-cut white oak floors with a natural stain run throughout the entire unit. The breakfast area, with an integrated tv, has an amazing view of the green city park below.
